Registration Opens October 15th for Earthquake Soft-Story Grants
Starting today, qualified homeowners in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Pasadena, Berkeley, Oakland, as well as additional surrounding cities, can apply for grants to strengthen their homes against earthquake damage with up to $13,000 in financial assistance. The Earthquake Soft-Story (ESS) Program provides financial assistance to homeowners to complete a code-compliant seismic retrofit of their home.

Starting today, January 10 and continuing until February 21st, eligible homeowners in 815 ZIP Codes can apply for $3,000 seismic retrofit grants to help strengthen their homes against earthquake damage.
